| Christian is a nice guy. Really, he is. He has a nice house with nice furniture, a nice kitchen with nice food and a nice garden with nice flowers. He always felt there something missing from his life, however, and not even all the nice things could quite make up for it. A strange person came to Christian's house one day. He had a box in his hands and was missing one finger. That man wasn't very nice. He really wanted Christian to have the box, though, so he did the man a favor and kept it for him. The man with nine fingers left and Christian never saw him again. Suddenly things didn't seem so nice anymore. Christian still had a nice house with nice furniture, nice food and nice flowers. His neighbors, however, had turned their smiles into frowns and their good mornings into silence. He had always lived alone, but now he felt lonely. Someone else came to visit and asked for his help. Christian thought the stranger was so nice he decided to keep him. He could have been a very nice abductor, but he wasn't very good at taking care of people. That's how His parents died. They needed his help and he helped too much. Just like he was too nice to his new friend. His stranger friend died. Christian decided to give him a nice burial in his garden and cut off one of his fingers. He left it in the box and went to sleep. The next morning, his friend came back. At first he was scared. The friend was even nicer than before, though, so Christian took care of him until it killed him once again. He left another finger inside. The next morning, his friend was waiting for him once more. It happened again and again until his friend had no fingers left to put in the box. He didn't want to keep feeling lonely, though. Not after that. So Christian keeps asking people to step in his house and never lets them leave until there are no fingers left to put in the box.
