It is a figure of destruction and change, It is a character of myth, It is a visitor few survive. Three children were paid a visit by The Towering Darkness. It chose three to hold the key to permanence or change, inviting them to eat from Its feast. Unknowing things, each devoured a hungering darkness that would fester inside them - beasts that would devour them and all around them lest they learned out to control their power. It would pay them a visit to reclaim their might once they did, so that It might grow, but the first two children were too weak and succumbed to the beasts. All but one, AIDA CHUINEAD, a girl who garnered the power It wants and has hidden herself away in the woods, protected by witches. She runs from Its birds and reads about the tales of the world outside, hoping It will not visit her again.
